The four capacaties are to enable each child or young person to be a successful learner, a confident individual, a responsible citizen and an effective contributor.
We use all these skills at college, for example we become successful learners in every class because we have openness to thinking and new ideas, use technology for learning and think creatively and independently.
In our special effects class we become confident individuals as we acheive success in different areas of work, we work independently and think on our own and we are motivated to work harder by new things and ideas.
We become responsible citizens in our hairdressing class because we are working with electricritity and it makes us more aware of things and people around us.
We become effective contributers in all classes, in our essensial skills class we create and develop our blogs and learn to think on our own. We also use it in our special effects and character makeup classes because we have to rely on ourselves to take in our research and we have to learn to have more creative thinking to create better and different looks every week.
So far i have had a very good experience in college, i think my course is interesting and exciting and i look forward to the rest of the year.
